Lab42 surveyed young women in order to determine how they discover new makeup and cosmetic products.

Problem
The client had a client who was looking to launch a new brand of makeup. She did not have enough information on how women interacted with makeup, when they started using makeup, and how they chose their preferred brands, so she came to us for help with market research.
Solution
Lab42 constructed a survey that allowed our client to answer many of the outstanding questions she had about her target market. We targeted women between the ages of 18 and 30 years old, and asked them both general and specific questions pertaining to makeup and their use of makeup.
Results
Within 3 business days, Lab42 gathered 500 qualified respondents for our client’s survey. We then summarized the results and provided our client with a report that she used to further define her target market, as well as potential marketing strategies that would work for her own client.
